Here Are Some One-Ingredient Natural Remedies That Will Help You Remove Any Bug From Your Home!

When winter comes, people mostly want to enjoy their homes where it is warm. No one wants to go out in the cold. But, you should know that the bugs in and around your home also want to be inside where it’s warmer.

The sprays that can be used against insects can kill the bugs, but they’re very dangerous for people, too. So, why don’t you use something natural that will help you kill them, but won’t harm you?

Eucalyptus Essential Oil
This type of oil is considered to be the most effective insect repellent that is all natural. There are numerous studies which can prove that.  

So, buy some eucalyptus essential oil and use it as an insect repellent!

Add one cup of water and ¼ of a teaspoon of eucalyptus oil into a spray bottle. Shake everything well. Apply it on the areas where you’ve seen insects. You must remember to shake it before every application because the oil will separate from the water. Reapply the spray every 3 days.


Lavender
During the process of aromatherapy, lavender oil is the most commonly used, but can also help you repel insects!

People have used it for centuries and managed to prevent white flies, black beetles, fleas, green flies and black flies. It can also help you against infections which appear because of bug bites.

You can help yourself by using lavender sachets or pillows to avoid insects coming into your sleeping area.



Put 1.5 ounces of water into a spray bottle and then add 30-40 drops of lavender oil. Shake everything well and use it where you have insects!

Basil
Basil has a very strong aroma that insects don’t like.

According to a particular study, it repels insects very effectively, but it can also be used as a larvicide. It will even prevent larval insects to hatch!

Just add 8 ounces of water into a spray bottle and then put 20 drops of basil inside. Shake it all well and spray wherever you need to, including your skin.

Citrus
Citrus oils can also be used as insect repellents. You can use bergamot essential oil or if you don’t have an essential oil at the moment, just squeeze the orange juice of an orange, put it in a spray bottle and use it wherever you need to!

Peppermint
Peppermint will repel any insect effectively, but it will also give the area a refreshing scent. It can be even used on your skin!

You can use several min tea bags that you’ve dipped into water in the areas where you have insects.

If you want to, you can also prepare a spray. Just add 8 ounces of water into a spray bottle and put 10-15 drops of peppermint oil. Shake it all well and spray it on any area with insects. You can also use this mixture against mice! You just have to put a smaller amount of water in the mixture!
