Just put some lemon peels at the bottom of your trash can and it will help to absorb the unlikable odor and give your can a fresh lemon smell.
4. Clean Microwaves
Fill a microwave-safe container with water and add a few lemon peels. Then, heat on high for about five minutes, and the steam will clean your microwave from the inside. Finally, just wipe down the walls of the microwave with a towel, and it will be as clean as new.



5. Ant Repellent
Place some lemon peels near any small space like door cracks where you expect ants to enter your house. The unique smell will keep ants away from your home. What’s more, you can use lemon peels to keep ants away from your sugar jar too.

Boil leftover lemon peels in water until the quantity of water is halved. Cool the mixture, strain and collect the liquid in a glass jar. Store it in the fridge.
